Entry ban for the United Kingdom

As of 1 January 2021 the United Kingdom (UK) is no longer member of the EU.  As of that date the current EU entry ban in respect to COVID-19 will therefore also apply to the UK.

Exemptions entry ban

In addition to the existing exemptions the entry ban will not apply to UK-nationals who legally reside in the Netherlands. They will, however, need to be able to prove such legal residence.

Other conditions

Travellers from the UK who are exempted from the entry ban will therefore also need to submit a negative test result and self-quarantine upon arrival in the Netherlands. Please also see our previous news item in this respect.
